Standby by pressing "r"

My PC went into standby mode whenever I pressed "r". Is there a way to turn this off?

It comes and goes. Sometimes it's every time, sometimes its when I tap it but not when I hold it down for a short while and sometimes nothing happens at all. It's really wierd.

does this happen absolutely any time you push the letter "R"?

Have you activated any hot keys? Usually you need to press alt or the Windows key along with the hot key. Is it just one program or all the time?

It's all the time, it doesn't matter if I'm in a program or not.
