Still cannot register for my Vista Upgrade!

Question

I purchased a Dell XPS at the beginning of january. I have been trying to enter my service tag on www.dellvistaupgrade.com since then. It keeps saying my system is not elligible for a Vista Upgrade. I have tried calling several times and I keep getting told just to wait and try back in another week. Well it's been 7 weeks now. I have sent two emails to the vista upgrade support address and have not received a response yet.   Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to at least put the order through?

Hi If you havent still reedemed your upgrade go to http://direct2dell.com/one2one/default.aspx and drop them an email or leave a comment on the top post of the website above, they will then send you an email asking you for your info so they can get your upgrade reedemed and sent to you.

I received an email confirmation on 02/27/07 stating that i would be receiving my upgrade from Zomax on  03/01/07 by way of 2nd day DHL even though my status still states pending and also registered on 12/25/06 Im so   System: Inspiron 1501 Screen: 15.4 inch Wide Screen Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-56 Processor Speed: 1.8 GHz Dual Core Graphics: (ATI Radeon Xpress 1150)  256 MB Sound: Sigma Tel Audio  Memory (RAM): 2048 MB Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional MCE 2005
