You might open up both programs and look in maybe preferences to see if the option for having a tray icon is checked.   May or may not be the problem, but worth a look.  Kip

Do you see them listed when you right click on the taskbar and click properties/customize?   Kip

I see nothing in Properties that would give an option for having the icons in the Taskbar.I had these icons in the taskbar forever and made no changes to make them disappear.

In Taskbar Properties>Customize its shown as a Past Item.What does that mean?I cam mark it to Always show but stil it will not come up on Taskbar.

Well something was changed with those two programs.  Are you positive you cant recall an update or possibly what your did just prior to this happening?    You could do a system restore to a date prior to the icons disappearing and see if that brings them back,  If it doesnt you can go back prior to the restore.  Kip
