Temperature monitoring

Does anyone know of any programs that would show me the temperature in a dell dimension e510?

Generally speaking, there is no software to monitor CPU temps on Dell desktops. You can use SpeedFan (free at www.almico.com) to monitor hard drive temps, if it's a SMART-enabled drive, by putting a small icon in the system tray by the clock. SpeedFan can't control fan speeds on Dell desktops.

If you have nVidia video card, recent versions of their driver software monitor the temp of the GPU on the video card and of the ambient air around the card.

Some people have mounted a small temp probe on the CPU that attaches to an external digital display.

asbo1986 - If that software works on a Dell system, you'll become the all-time, biggest hero around here -EVER. In other words, I'm doubtful because Dell desktops systems don't enable the sensors. Ron
