Tiger Woods 2008 problem

First of all, let me thank anyone who replies to this post.  I installed Tiger Woods 2008 on my Dell Inspiron 530.  Everything seemed to install correctly.  Now when I try to run the program, the startup screen for EA Sports usually stops and the program aborts with a Windows error.  Then once in a while it continues to load but the EA startup screen video is all distorted, then the main program continues and works fine.  I am kind of leaning towards it is probably a problem with the video card which is a NVIDIA 8600GT.  I am running Windows Vista and updated my Nvidia drivers hoping this would help my problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated..  Thank You.

I`m not certain that this will solve the problem, but at least we know the cause now.

If necessary we can do some research on the internet for

Just a thought... have you tried disabling Zone Alarm when running this game? I am unfamilliar with the security suite you are using. It may also interfere with proper game operation. Good luck!  _Bill

EDIT: OK. I reread the first post and now see this is all part of the ZA suite. Sometimes security software will mess up a game. I would try disabling and see if it helps. I know you may be trying to play online but a quick test would at least answer the question. -Bill
