Touchpad Fix?

Did you download the Dell drivers for your system after installing Vista?

I tried, but when it installs, I get an error message that the install was invalid.

Did you download and install Synaptic Pointing Device? Go to support.dell.com, select Drivers, and open your system's drivers page... There you will see the program called Synaptics Touchpad, this is the program that lets the scroll bars work.

Yes, I wish it didn't do that. Better if it defaulted to "Select OS". Then select from the drop down list.

Download the synaptics touchpad driver from the Dell Drivers & Downloads page.
