unlocking my computer

I've somehow locked my computer.  Everytime I walk away, I have to put in my password.  I'm the only one using this computer.  How do I unlock it?

Is the screensaver turned on?
 
Right click on an empty part of the desktop and choose Properties, then select "Screensaver", then Untick "On resume, display the logon screen"  Hit OK
