Upgrade help w8.1 to W10
My Laptop 15-3537 is now 2 years old and runs with W8.1. No problems, everything is fine. I read about an upgrade to W10, but I also read, that many upgraders experience lots of problems. So, right now, I have no reason to upgrade.
But I'm thinking, that I must upgrade in the future for yet unkown good reasons. When I run during such an upgrade into trouble, who can help me fixing that? I really cannot spend too much time on something like that, because, as a journalist, I need my laptop every day. So, I'd rather call somebody.
Does Microsoft help me?
Does Dell help me?
What are the costs?

For that model in particular make sure you have the latest UEFI revision A08 before attempting to upgrade (or clean install)> It should prevent most the upgrade woes you've read about:

Meanwhile I installed A08 and now I will check the Windows Reinstallation Guide.
