Upgraded to win 10 - some questions
I managed to upgrade my Del 7520 Inspiron laptop from win 8 to win 10. I have a couple of questions as follows:
1) When I start up the laptop, the win 8 welcome screen shows briefly before the win 10 welcome screen. Why is it still showing the win 8 welcome screen? Is there a way to stop the win 8 welcome screen from showing? BTW, the start up process is smooth and fast.
2) In my c drive, I see the folder windows.old. Is there a way to remove this folder without causing any problems?

Leave the windows old folder alone. It will disappear after 30 days. It's there to make sure there are no problems that require returning to windows 8. You have only 30 days to decide to keep win 10.
The first screen can be changed along with lots of other customizations. Go through all the Settings to see what you can do.
