user name , domain , password incorrect cant log on

Question

about a month ago i logged off windows , went to get back on a few hours later and windows would not log me on says password username and domain are not correct . i have been trying a number of things but nothing seems to work , if you have any suggestions or might know what went wrong it would be a big help .

It's not a Domain so when you hit ALT+CTRL+DEL to logon amke sure you are logging in locally, the name of the local machine will be an option and in your case should be the default.

domain is what it says , im not very good with computers its a desktop comp at my home no one else had access to it whats wierd is i never had a password on it just my user name which still comes up the same as always no diff then when i saved it a year ago .
