version of Macromedia Flash player

Question

I am getting a message regarding my currently installed version of Macromedia Flash player to install a later version. Where do I find the version and what folder do I install the latest version? What is the new version going to accomplish for me as things look o.k. and are working o.k.? Is this really necessary? Using XP with IE. Thanks

Go to Macromedia .com and download the Flash player version that is most current.(I believe it is version 7) The player will automaticly install to the correct location. Read and follow the directions for installation. Message Edited by NFFAA on 10-09-2005 05:20 PM

FYI current version of flash player is 8.0.22
