Vista Admin Password Lost

I would like to get rid of the Administrator Account, because I don’t remember it’s password and consequently I cannot install or remove any software.

Please help me to remove this user account password.

Are you trying to uninstall the Windows Administrator account, or an account you created as administrator???
The Windows Administrator account cannot be deleted.
If you cannot install/uninstall applications, are you using a standar account?

I think what you want to do is remove the logon screen from Vista. Check out the following link on how to do this.:

I`m back. Rocky: I can not enter a User name and password because a did not setup any user name or password. I just want to be able to install a remove software and hardware without those annoying pop-ups. I think that I have been the only owner of this computer, so I should have the right to sign in as an administrator. Thanks

Hi,
Ididnt quite understand.. Did you mean to disable the UAC pop ups that tell you to to continue or abort?? If that is what you want to remove (and microsoft does not recommend it( then see the following link:

I repeat, I would not recommend it unless it is temporary for installing a particular software that is being prevented byt the UAC..

Thanks Rocky for the time you took to answer my questions. Now I know how to deal with those annoying vista pop-ups.

First try to increase the resolution.
Right click on the desktop - personalize - display settings. Increase the resolution slider towards the right. If that has already been done,

download the drivers from the following link:
