Vista Beta Driver for Nvidia Ge Force 7400

I recently bought the XPS M1210 to run the Vista Beta and just discovered after I installed Vista that it either doesn't support the Aero interface or there isn't a driver for it. Can anyone answer this question?

Have you tried Windows Update?

If my laptop's integrated graphics can support Aero (with 1gb of ram) the 7400 should support Aero with no problem. At this point the upgrade advisor is useless unless you've got a dual boot setup with XP and Vista. Try using Windows Update. I was able to find 90% of the drivers I needed for my 8400 and E1405 this way.

I have tried Windows Update, Nvidia has drivers for many of their graphics adapters bu not this one. I am think it is new. The system installed a decent driver but it isn't optimized for AERO I guess. I am wondering if it support Directx 10 which is needed. I would think a new adapter with 256m would be fairly top of the line.

There are no DirectX 10 cards out yet. Try running the XP drivers using compatibility mode.
