Web content on desktop does not refresh
I have the cable isp's webpage displayed on my desktop, but the area taken up by the page keeps disappearing, and is replaced by a large white rectangle. When I hit F5, it is restored. Somehow, it is not automatically refreshing itself or something.
Any advice on how to correct this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - I'm using XP Pro; when I go to Display properties / desktop / customize desktop / Web / Properties , there is no edit or schedule tab. The only tab is "Web Document" and when I click that, all I see is the URL for the page.
Do you have any idea why there is no "edit" or "schedule" tab?

Hm....I've got XP Home & that last page for me has 2 additional tabs for "Schedule" & "Download" - let me have a think about it & I'll re-post if I come up with a solution.
A Thought:
You haven't by any chance disabled Task Scheduler? Check Component Services / Services (Local) and make sure Task Scheduler is enabled - I guess this is the same in XP Pro?
