Hi,
This depends on what executables you have on your PC. Did you try a Google search? The very first entry for the search argument "start run commands" is ...

Hope that helps.

Hi,
Some items can be launched from the run box just by typing their names because they were installed with this name in a registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\.
For Starters though, try the following executables...
command, edit, sysedit, regedit, msconfig, msinfo32, calc, mspaint, explorer, iexplore, winipcfg, scandisk, defrag, notepad, wordpad, wab
Not all entries need be executables either. Try...
windows
desktop
Would you like to create some of you own Start/Run items? It's easy. Any shortcut that you create in your Windows folder can be typed in and launched from Start/Run too.

RUN is a command interface box. In windows, this was designed to be a more user-friendly Command line interface.
You can type any dos command that is traversable in the DOS PATH... You can run any Windows command in c:\windows or c:\windows\system IIRC.
or, of course, you can run ANY executable on your computer if you use the entire system path.
What windows does is create a shortcut hook to the program to execute it.
In short, there is no limit to what you can run from the RUN box. I believe what you were really looking for was what system commands can you run.... look up the windows and DOS system commands online or in your Microsoft Help menu and this will answer your question. (note, most of these are already accessible in your start menu -- open windowsExplorer and navigate to c:\windows and look at the .exe files in that directory -- notepad, calc(ulator), etc... )
good luck.

If you are still monitoring replies to your post, I'll add one favorite command I use in "Start, Run" (I hit the "Start" key and "R" key at the same time to open "Run").
Type in any web address (URL), and hit "Enter", and it will go right to that page. You can be on your desktop or running any program. I have a cable modem which is on all the time. I'm not sure if this will work in dial-up.
