why can't I install cookie crusher on my computer

I purcheased a little program for twenty five dollars “ cookie crusher “from an online download link and it would not install even tho I closed all programs running in the background including a.v & firewall , naturally thelimit software company who sells this software will not help me to install it nor will they give me a refund , they just pretend I don’t exist when  I send them fax’s and e mails for help at first and and a refund if they won’t help me but I have got neither while they have my twenty five dollars …

I tried downloading from their link and when that failed I tried downloading it from downloads.com and it loaded some files and then I got a Microsoft message box saying program can not be installed , do you think if I tried to install in safe mode it would install why did it not install I wonder ? also I noticed I have a folder in programs cookie crusher and when I opened the folder it has three files in it and all three have 0 kbs

Would it be safe to delete it , when I tried to delete it , I got a message warning me not to but why not delete it if it has nothing in it ?

Sure, delete the download. Windows is just reminding you it's a program file which in some cases, are required for the app to function. Since you havn't installed, it's just dead weight. I might suggest you try Jason's Cookie Jar for managing your cookies. It's a tiny little program...fast, simple and effective. If you have any trouble running it then it probably means you need to also download and install the Visual Basic 6 Runtime and/or, WSH which is also available on the same page.

If you bought the program with a credit card, call the credit card company and put the charge in dispute. Tell them you never got the product (if what you're saying is correct) and can't get a refund. They will remove the charge from your account and contact the supplier for resolution.

jasons cookie jar sounds intresting and the price is right ( free / donation) as far as the netframe the software tells you that you have to install that , which I did from windows updates but that didn't keep it from not installing and thier help sheet didn't help much ..

like he said dispute the charge if it is on a credit card.

i found something you should take a look at , (oops the link will not complete), so go to their pages for support and you might see something about the micrrosoft net framework.
