win 98SE-product key
I am trying to reinstall win98SE. The setup asked for a product key. The key I have is 20 characters. The setup input requires 25 characters. I know the key is correct because I checked it from the OS before I tryed to reinstall. Any suggestions?

The key you copied with 20 characters probably includes "OEM" and it appeared in your registry as ProductId. Immediately below that, under ProductKey was the 25-character key that you need. You should be able to find the actual key on the small booklet that accompanied your computer (assuming it hasn't been lost).
