Win xp pro product key unaccepted

USA notebooks sells used computers as you know.  If they installed XP Pro on a computer, they should have provided you with a CD.

The key on the bottom of the computer is for Dell OEM Windows (Home or Pro depending on what it says).  That key will NOT work with a retail copy of Pro as you've discovered, it's for OEM only. 

You should contact USA notebooks and either get a Dell Pro CD from them, or have them send a retail copy with a new key.
