Winbom.ini in recents

Question

I recently put an old computer back into service from 2007. It was from dell and *think* factory preinstalled with windows xp. There are two user accounts and an admin account. The admin account and one of the user accounts was almost never used. When I opened these accounts, I found a shortcut to winbom and sysprep folder shortcut in both admin and seldom used user account "recent" folder and they were also in recents folder from an account called "user" (guest?).

Would these files have been run by dell at factory and still in the recents folder since no documents ever get looked at on the those accounts? Or would this folder be empty?

AH18, The 2 files are part of the restore image that was created at the factory. They are used if you need to restore the factory image on your computer.

I found only the shortcut to the files, but not the files themselves.  Would it be normal to see these items in the recents folder of a brand new computer? Thanks

AH18, Unfortunately, Dell uses a different restore program now. You would not see them in newer computers. Below is information that may explain it better. How to Use Sysprep in Factory Mode

The actual folders are not on the computer, only the shortcuts.

I bought this computer in 2007.  I am wondering if those shortcuts in the recent folder are leftovers from the original image from dell in user accounts that were left untouched.  When I got a the computer in 2007, would it be normal if those shortcuts were still in the recents upon starting computer first time?
