Windows 10 error for Dell Stage
I have a Dell Inspiron 1550 Laptop and recently installed Windows 10. At start up an error message for Dell Stage comes up "Dell Stage requires Windows 7".
After spending hours trying to find a solution from Dell and being told that my Service Tag is expired and for $50 I can have them look at it, I am at wits end.
Is there a fix for this from Dell?

It was a media program it is now obsolete and isn't needed.
Windows 10 has an inbuilt Film & TV App aswell as a Music App which should effectively replace most of the functionality of Dell Stage.
Note Windows 10 cannot natively playback DVDs (as Microsoft don't want to pay for DVD codecs) they do have an App which you can pay for but its poorly rated:

So you can use the free VLC player for DVD playback.

What about the DELL STAGE Games Stage block??
And how do I get rid of the DELL STage requires Window 7 notification???

I had the same problem on a desktop. I was sort of fooling around and accidentally fixed the problem, although Dell Stage now works differently...I went to where the Dell Stage file is and double clicked on it to see if it would launch. I was asked if I wanted to run it in compatibility mode and I answered yes. I now have a different but somewhat useuable Dell Stage.....hope it works for you.

I found d out how to u install Dell stage games folder files.
My first suggestions are to not install windows 10.

I have the same problem. Since installing Windows 10 my Adobe Acrobat Reader no longer works. Do not install Windows 10!
