Windows 7 recovery/boot disk corrupted; how to reinstall?

I'm getting a blue screen of death error that points to something called ntoskrnl.exe.

Scanned for spyware/malicious programs, updated all drivers and tried system restore with no luck.  Now I learned my recovery disk is corrupted so I can't reinstall -- suggestions?

BSOD comes after signing -- OS boots without error, but crashes as soon as desktop loads

Could you please provide the following details:

1. Operating System Installed on the system
2. BSOD Error Code
3. Did you perform any recent hardware change?

Thanks & Regards

In the US, you can order a replacement Windows DVD from here:

support.dell.com/.../backupcd_form

Or you can download and install using a "retail" DVD, then activate over the phone (with Microsoft, NOT Dell) using the Product Key on the COA/license sticker on your computer.

If it boots ok in Safe Mode, you can open MSCONFIG (from the Start Menu Search bar), and disable all non-Microsoft services and startup applications.  Then add them back one (or a few) at a time until you find the culprit.  What BSOD stop code are you getting?

Thanks for the quick responses -- going to keep this as "unanswered"  while I try @flashses MSCONFIG suggestion.

Also ordered a backup recovery disk.

Once you have a disc, see Windows Reinstallation Guide/A Clean install of Windows 7 for some more detailed instructions:
