Windows 8.1 Pro Update Causing "SecureBoot isn't configured correctly" Watermark

Guys, how do I legitimately stop this watermark from showing up? I am booting with UEFI right now but Secure Boot is disabled (gray'd out so I can't even modify this option). I tried doing a Legacy boot, but this doesn't work...this just gives me an error about rebooting and selecting a proper boot device (I'm not sure why this doesn't work either, because I'm selecting it to boot from my hard drive in legacy boot mode). Also, since I just updated to Windows 8.1 Pro from Windows 8 Pro, I'm not sure why I started seeing this watermark, because it was not there before. Anyone have any ideas what's causing this and how to get around it?

UEFI Bios on my machine (which is not a Dell) has an option to INSTALL SECURE BOOT KEYS.  Once I did that, 8.1 booted successfully and the "Secured Boot isn't Configured Correctly" went away.  Be sure your UEFI also has TPM set to ENABLED and SECURE BOOT CONTROL as ENABLED too.

A post in Answers (Microsoft Community) forums today suggests the one of the Optional, non-security updates released today resolves the "SecureBoot/Watermark" issue => http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windowsrt8_1-performance/asus-tf600t-secureboot-isnt-configured-corretly/cba679f3-2d0c-4607-909d-43b2d7d0aa1f?page=3

Update(s)-in-question may include:

   http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2887595 (which includes KB2902864)

   http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2889784

   http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2890141 and/or

   http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2897942

...all of which should be offered via Windows Update.

YMMV...

All the update does is remove the watermark from your pc.

If you reboot and hit F2 and check your Secure Boot setting, most likely it is still disabled.

Windows update on Tue., Nov 12/13 included the watermark removal, however, when I checked my SecureBoot setting under the Bios, it still states Disabled and is greyed out so that I cannot modify it.

I have an Alienware R4.

you can't expect  them to modify your bios all they did was hack their system to make you think its fixed and it is not you need a GOP bios update for your video card like i got.

Exactly, or a Bios update from Dell would also help.

I'm a tech in IT, so yes, I could do it, but how many people that bought pcs from Dell that don't have the knowledge to do the update themselves ?

After the upgrading Windows 7/8 to Windows 8.1, the watermark "SecureBoot isn’t configured correctly" appears on the desktop.
