Hi Mezic26,

I would suggest you to run the diagnostics on your system to check the hardware functionality. Below are the steps:-

• Restart your system and keep tapping ‘F12’ as soon as the Dell logo appears.

• Select ‘Diagnostics’ and press ‘enter’.

• The diagnostics should start. Please make a note of any error code/message, you may get.

Also I have sent you a private message. Please add me as a friend and send me your ‘Service Tag’ through the private message to look up the warranty information.

Please reply if you have any questions. Please keep me posted.

Hi Mark,

I am glad to hear that the Wi-Fi is working on your system. The Wi-Max issue will be resolved by installing the following driver:

Hope this resolves the issue. Please reply if you have any questions.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your quick response. Does the missing driver has a yellow "?" (question) or a yellow "!"(exclamation) ?

You can try running the "Auto Detect" utility from Intel on your system. This should automatically detect the missing driver:

I would appreciate if you can send me a screen shot of the Device Manager.

Please keep me posted.

Hi Mark,

I am unable to see any screen shot in the above post. However, since you mentioned that the driver has been installed, please let me know if your system is working fine now?

Hi Mark,

I am happy that the drivers have been installed successfully. Please check if any other driver is missing in Device Manager and if your system is working fine?

Hi Mark,

I appreciate your efforts. I will suggest you to uninstall the Wi-Fi and WiMAX drivers and then run the "Auto Detect" utility from Intel on your system. Below are the steps to uninstall the Wi-Fi driver and software:

• Go to ‘Device Manager’ and go to ‘Network adapters’.

• Under “Network adapters”, right click on “Wireless 365 Bluetooth”, “Intel Wi-Fi 6250” and “Intel WiMAX 6250” and click on “uninstall”.

• While uninstalling each driver, check the box to delete the software.

Restart the system and run the "Auto Detect" utility from Intel on your system. This should automatically install the required drivers:
