Windows Characters/fonts
does anyone know how to change the characters back to english?
example : my computer icon - the icon is the same but the writing instead of saying my computer there are a bunch of squares lines and x's etc etc below it all files and folders are the same. if anyone knows how to change it back to english would be great if not a fast fix lol something that will give me enough time to find and save my emails on a diffrent drive then i can format the drive. Thanks for your time

If you are referring to the labels on desktop icons go to Start|Control Panel|Display. On the Appearance tab click the "Advanced" button. On the next dialog select Icon in the Item: box and see what font is selected. The default is Tahoma and it sounds like some symbol font has been selected instead.
