Windows Media Player
I just purchased a new E510 with XP 2005 media center OS and tried to open windows media player. I got the message that media player was not installed correctly and needed to be re-installed. When I downloaded the new version 10.0.0 3646 and tried to install, I got the message a newer version was already running, which was version 10.0.0.3806 and 10.0.0.3646 which I thought was the latest version would not re-install or over write to corrupt version, so I am not able to use WMA, can anyone give me some help, I need to be able to use WMA. Thanks

fm58:
You can't uninstall WMP10 on your system, but the solution to your problem is to uninstall any hotfixes for it via Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs first, then reinstall WMP10 over itself.
