Windows Recovery Console: How to activate it?

Question

I have a Dimension 4700. I did not get the CD with the system. I was wondering if there's still a way to get into the Windows Recovery Console or to at least set it up so that it is an option at startup.

Any tips?

hotghoul:   You can use Combofix.exe, a free download, to install the recovery console if you don't have an XP installation CD. Full instructions are here:http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=31844
