Windows Vista Updates Are Killing Me

Question

The last 2 times I have gotten Vista updates, it has whacked me, hard. IE7 freezes up, and requires a power on reset. I do a system restore and everything works OK until the next update.   Anybody else having this problem?

I have an E510 that I did an upgrade to Vista home Premium.  Not having any problems with Vista or the updates.

i have dell vista but it doesn't let me updates anything at all becuase of an error code 800B0100 and i can't do no updates and i tried everything

yes im having the same exact problem and error code cant update at all now it is saying that i must install i new update for windows update before i can update any thing else but it wont even install the windows update update dont know what to do. it seem like it started when dell support was trying to fix my dell wireless printer.on aug 28 2007 and windows update hasn't work since  it might just be a coincidence but i dout it any help would be appreiciated because i just dont like talking or chatting with dell support they might fix one thing but then they mess up something else
