Windows XP Repair - Administrator Password

I am trying to use my Dell XP disk to repair my Windows XP installation and it keeps asking me for my "Administrator Passowrd". I have no idea what it is, idn't even know I had set one. None of my known passwords work. How do I get around this without reinstalling altogether??

Did you try a blank password?

Yes, I did try just leaving it blank. I also tried "admin", "administrator" and "password". Any other ideas?

Thanks! Since I don't have that guy's disk, that link didn't help me much. I got frustrated and decided to simply reinstall. Thank you for responding to my post, though.

The null password would have worked unless it was changed since it is set to null (left blank) by default.

Thanks! I didn't set it, as far as I know, and for some reason the null password wouldn't work. No worries... I'm all set now. Thank you your reply.
