WMI provider host

Question

I have recently bought a new Inspiron 1720 with Vista Home premium. Some time it happens that it pops up a windows where it is written that 'WMI Provider host has stopped working'. If I ask for searching a solution on line nothing happens. After the pop up, the Computer seems working as before with no problem. What does it mean this message and can this 'stop'be a problem for the computer software? thanks

McAfee Spamkiller is known to cause this error.
