.WMV file problems

Question

When a friend receives and opens .WMV files, they're opened normal to see/hear, but when she sends them to others via email, they open as a text file, does anyone know what causes this and how to fix the problem?

It would probably be how they are forwarding the message and file and how their e-mail program is set up.  Can't give much other info as we have no idea what e-mail program they are using or how it's setup.

Thanks for the reply, she's using Outlook Express , latest version, still having the problem , but when she emails big attachments thru AOL , they come thru ok, so maybe sending big files or the PPS files , she'll just use AOL.
