www publishing service fails on SP2

​ I've found that my XP Pro loads IIS just fine with SP2, but it won't allow World Wide Web Publishing Services, FTP Services, or SMTP Services to start under IIS. Usually get the "module not found" message. ​

​ IIS and services worked great before the SP2 install and removing SP2 doesn't fix the problem. I need the publishing services for ASP.NET. ​

​ Any ideas on where to look for help or a solution? ​
