XM Radio Online/Win2k Compatibility Issues?

I am having problems with the XM audio stream with a Win2K machine, but it works on the other comps on my network that don't have Win2000. I use Macromedia Flash Player 7 and Windows Media Player 9 installed. I do have sound though; it just doesn't load every time. Sometimes the station plays right away, sometimes it takes ten minutes, and sometimes it just says "buffering" and never plays. Any suggestions for me? I tried adjusting the buffering rate and changing the stream; no help.
