XP home: compression/unzip utility

Yes Win XP does include a compression/decompression utility. 

To compress a file or folder right click on it and select properties select advanced check the compress box then click ok and click ok again.  To decompress it just follow those steps.  Now if its a zipped file(with the .zip file ext.) then you need to right click on it and extract all.
