XP Pro OEM version conflict with Solomon IV

Our office uses Solomon IV version 4.5 from Microsoft Business Solutions on Dell Dimensions, OptiPlex, and Latitudes. On the last two machines we've bought, a Latitude 900 and a Dimension 4600, the installation of the Solomon client fails with the message "swimapi.dll not found." The Solomon support people have tried to resolve the issue, and now they're saying that it might be a conflict with Dell's OEM version of XP. Has anyone else experienced this and, more importantly, resolved it?
