XP restore used - now can't use Support 2.0

This week I used XP System restore on my Dell Dimension 2300 to eliminate an "unresponsive program" message for desktop search that began to occur upon shutting down. I had installed Support 2.0 after the time period to which I reset the computer.

 

Later, I received a Dell Support message to upgrade to Support 2.0. I downloaded support 2.0 but the progam cannot install since it cannot delete the previous 2.0 installation. I am also unable to delete support 2.0 using "Add/Remove" programs in Control Panel.

 

Now I have no Dell Support 2.0 working. Can someone help me? I really would like to have it on the machine.
