XPS 710 and Vista upgrade

I have two questions.  The first is about the Vista upgrade.  Does anyone know if all the drivers have been finalized for the XPS 710?

My second question is about my OAC - the little sticker that goes on the side of a new computer.  I can't find mine, I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spots?

Thanks

I found it!  Right at the back on top.  Problem was the computer is so huge that I had to take it right out from under the desk to see it!

Anyone have a timeline as to when the drivers are going to be ready for the XPS 710?  A month, six months??

Thanks

COA

Multicolored sticker, notmally on the top of chassis near the back on XPS systems.

As for driver availability, when you can BUY a XPS710 with Vista, then Dell will have the drivers worked out.

Hi,

I have the XPS710 and my upgrade for Vista will be here on Monday.  I hope they sent it out with all the up to date drivers.  Not sure I will install right away, might wait a bit for that.

Do you think their XPS 700 systems are on the top of their list as well?

Seeing that the 710 is their flagship system, I'd imagine they're trying to get the drivers sorted out rather quickly.

I bought my XPS 710 Jan 5th 2007 installed The Vista on Friday the only problem I had was the audio controller. Dell has an upgrade driver for Vista, I downloaded that and have had no trouble with ant thing else. I would add that when I reinstalled the Sound Blaster software it gave me a popup saying this software is known to have compatibility problems with Vista. I ignored the pop up and continued with the instillation. Worked just fine. Hi,
Once I'm ready to install the Vista upgrade....which I got today but won't install until the weekend, I haven't opened it up because I'm still at work.....should I unplug everything but the mouse and keyboard?  Then once I install the upgrade then plug the printer and web cam and my bluetooth back in?
