XPS17 L702x Windows 8 Drivers
I just upgraded my L702x to Windows 8 and everything is working well with the out of box or Windows 7 drivers however I noticed that Dell has listed all the Windows 8 compatible updates on the Drivers and Downloads page for the L702x so I thought I would download and install them.
Well, over 24 hours later, any attempt to download the updated files only results in an error.
For the single file downloads, I get the error:
Sorry, the requested file could not be downloaded
For attempts using Dell Download Manager, I get a big red X and:
File not found
Seriously? How come we have to go through this every time Dell posts updates to the website? You would think they would have planned a high demand for the files on or just after the Windows 8 public release and not list the files as "available" on the website if they aren't actually on the server ready to download.
Way to go!

Thanks for the reply Swapnjan however its still no go. Your link takes me to the US version of the AU download page I was using but still results in the same errors. I have seen others on the forum.notebookreview.com site saying they are having the same issues downloading the A19 BIOS so its not just me.
I have tried IE10 (desktop and metro), Firefox and Google Chrome on Win8, and IE8 on XP and they all have the same problem.

Hi,
It looks like; when you tried to download the file the web-site might have had issues. After reading your post I tried to download the file and I was able to download and save it successfully. Please find below the link for the Dell driver download page, you may use the same and try to download the file.

Please do write back in case you need any further assistance.

Same problem here, after more than 24 hours, same issues, depending on what you try to do... either with the download app or downloading files individually. "File not found" or "Sorry, blah blah"... why on earth they say they have the drivers available, if it's impossible to download them... Some of Dell's pet peeves will probably prevent me from buying anything else from Dell.

Solution:
For anyone having problems downloading them, when you click on the download (single link) check the URL in your address bar and go to the last query string in the URL: isUSDownload. Make sure it says:
&isUSDownload=true (not false)
Once you've changed it press enter to go to the URL with the change THEN click continue it will then download. Without doing this you get an error and file not found. Repeat steps for each download link.
