Does Pocket Cloud Pro work on a Atrix 2 with a 4G connection?
Does Pocket Cloud Pro work on a Atrix 2 with a 4G connection?
My Atrix 1 would work on both WIFI and a 4G connection but my Atrix 2 only connects when I have a WIFI connection. Please advise.

Not sure why it wouldn't. Works on our Acer A501 via 4g, and Acer A500 via 4g with verizons hotspot through a droid charge phone.
I asked a partner and it works on his old Atrix 2, but for some reason his wireless N router was blockign it with its firewall so he turned it off and went to his other.

Hi,
Did it worked on 4G before?
What carrier do you use? ATT?
What connection type do you use? Manual or Auto Discovery?
Is that RDP or VNC?
Please try to use Free PocketCloud version 1.2.182 which has latest fixes. Let us know if it works for you.
Thanks

What carrier are you using (ATT, Verizon, etc.)?
Are you using a auto-discovered or a manual connection? If you are using auto-discovery, could you do the following to capture a log for me?
-Right click on the companion icon (kite) in the system tray
-Select Preferences
-Navigate to the Advanced tab
-Check Enable Debug
Reproduce the issue.
-Navigate back to the Advanced tab in the companion
-Press the ... button next to where you enabled the debug option
-Save the log file and send that to me (I sent you a private message with my email address)

Confirmed. Pocket works if I enable wifi. I'm using the latest free version. If I disable wifi (and yes, I do have adequate 4g signal), I get the message "connection failed... Could not connect to server". It is probably worth noting the startup screen does show the remote computer is connected when in 4g mode. I'm available for testing and I'm willing to email logs.

Latest versions of Companion 2.4.19 and Android Free App 1.2.187 solved my connection problems. Atrix 2 now works in 4G mode. Thanks a bundle!

I appreciate all of the help on this. We are in development on the new version that should have a fix for this. Unfortunately I do not have a release date yet. Please keep an eye out for a update in the market in the future.

Atrix2
I am having a similar problem. The Pocketcloud app worked with my Atrix 1(4G) and it hasn't worked with the Atrix 2 since I purchased it.
I'll give it a shot with WiFi when I get home this evening.

Carrier = AT&T - I wouldn't be surprised if they found some sneaky way to block your App on my phone.
I am using Auto-discovery.
Emailling debug file to you.
