Force Discovery Login

Is there a way to force auto discovery to login? I have units in the field that boot directly into an application that they are locked into. From time to time they request remote support and I'd like to use auto discovery to facilitate that. I need for it to auto connect with no user interaction required when the unit boots. I've found through testing that sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't connect I need only right click on the cloud in the tray and click login (credentials are already populated), problem is my users in the field don't have the ability to do that. Is there a registry entry or a batch file I can script up to force the login? Thanks
