Window Vista Manual Connection Help

Hello. I am hoping someone here can help me to setup a manual connection on my 32bit windows vista. I do not wish to use the auto discovery connection type with my gmail because I can never depend on it to connect 100% of the time. I understand port forwarding and have two ip web cams setup with port forwarding. Is there some way to setup port forwarding with the android pocketcloud application and my vista pc? I have tried different port numbers and as of yet had no success. I am using no-ip.com for my port forwarding as it works well for my web cams. For my host address entry on my android am I supposed to put in my no-ip username address as I do when I log into my web cams when I am away from home traveling or my home pc's private ip address going to ipconfig using cmd command on pc? My home pc's pocketcloud companion under the advanced tab does successfully have the VNC listening on port 3389 and lists my ip address from the cmd prompt. I have also made sure to adjust the three program rules on my norton 360 program rules from the auto access to the allow access. Any assistance would be appreciated.
