Cannot connect to server issue

Cannot connect to server issue

Using pocketcloud pro with IPad and windows 7 pro. Ok ... Read through the forums, tried a bunch of things and can't connect through my verzion wifi wireless broadband. It worked great for a few months... At home, I can connect, but i'm using my home network. Looking through the settings, I see only 2 remote desktop settings in the firewall area, but have firewall disabled... Checked ip, new installs, etc, etc, etc ... Ideas? Sure I'm missing something ridiculous ... Thx!

Got it working through manual connection... for some reason I'm getting a wrong IP addy through diagnostics and even ipconfig. I usedhttp://www.whatsmyip.net/ which showed a copletely different ip addy and it's working! WOW! Now, why is the wrong ip coming up? or Why is diagnostics showing the wrong ip addy?

The diagnostics screen in the PocketCloud Companion will only show your internal IP address. The one you used from whatsmyip.net is your external IP address.

Using the internal IP address will allow you to access your computer from inside your own network only.
Using the external IP address will allow you to access your computer from both inside and outside your network (i.e. when you aren't at Home).
