WSM 3.0.0 supports the upgrade from WSM 2.x; the steps are explained in the product release notes.
After the upgrade, I highly recommend and upgrade to WSM 3.0.2 (which supports upgrades from 3.0.0 and 3.0.1 only).
If you have a valid WSM maintenance, you will be able to download these versions from through your login on the Wyse commerce website or new support and Self-Service center page.
