WMS 4.2 SMTP withput username/password
Since WMS 4.2 it isn't possible to save SMTP-settings (Portal Administration -> Setup) without username and passwort ("Invalid SMTP username").
Any idea, how can I fix this?

From the support team: "We would like to inform you that you need to provide the username and password for configuring the SMTP in WMS 4.2.".
But if you work with Exchange and use a connector (SMTP Relay): just enter a random, fake username and password and it will work.
