Brand new 5030 and Display port

I have a brand new 5030 zero client and two Dell S2716DGR monitors.  I connected one monitor to the zero client via DP and it will not come on.  The monitor goes to sleep.

If I connect an old ACER B243W via DVI, it works fine.

Is my monitor too high end for the zero client or am i doing something wrong here?
