Half-duplex error on P-20

Half-duplex error on P-20

We are using Wyse P-20 (firmware version 3.2) zero clients with View 4.5 virtual desktops. We have several clients that receive an error from the P-20 device "Half-Duplex network connection" when they connect to the View Manager. The network connections have been verified and there is no issue once the session has been established.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Anyone has had any luck with the "Half-Duplex network connection" issue??

If you set verbose logging and power-off and back on the thin client, you should see something similar to:

0d,00:00:02.160> LVL:2 RC: 0 MGMT_NET :Network link UP
0d,00:00:02.160> LVL:2 RC: 0 MGMT_NET :Auto-negotiation enabled
0d,00:00:02.160> LVL:2 RC: 0 MGMT_NET :Network link rate: 100 Mbit/s, duplex: FULL
0d,00:00:02.160> LVL:2 RC: 0 MGMT_NET :Network link UP
0d,00:00:02.160> LVL:2 RC: 0 MGMT_NET :Auto-negotiation enabled
0d,00:00:02.160> LVL:2 RC: 0 MGMT_NET :Network link rate: 100 Mbit/s, duplex: FULL

in the logs. This will show you your Auto-negotiation results.

Also verify that you have not forced the client to half duplex.

Finally, check your switch to ensure it's not set for half duplex and that the Auto-negotiation is showing full duplex.

If all else fails, force the thin client and switch to 100 / FULL (or whatever your preferred speed is).

I too have the same issue. So where would I "set verbose logging and power-off and back on the thin client" and "force the thin client to 100 / FULL (or whatever your preferred speed is).

Thanks in advance,
