P20 cannot obtain IP address across fiber

P20 cannot obtain IP address across fiber

I am just starting getting some zero clients up but stuck pretty early in the game. Have a P20 that will not obtain an IP address, the problem being it doesn't see the network.

I'm using a fiber connection with a AT-SPFX/2 adapter in the SFP slot. It isn't the normal one that comes with the fiber P20 clients, it is another adapter I had to order.
(for reference: www.alliedtelesis.com/p-2383.html)

I was originally told that this adapter would work but I fear I may need to install some firmware to make it works since it doesn't even see the network at this point. Its amazing how much you miss link lights when they aren't there anymore.

Anyone else have this problem previously?
Thanks in advance!

addendum

By the way, I am using the AT-SPFX/2 that is supposed to work with the P20.

I am having the same issue with the same SFP (AT-SPFX/2 Allied Telesis). Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I have contacted Wyse support but I haven't heard back from them yet.

P20 with SFP

I'm having the same problem as the previous poster using the AT-SFPX/2 adapter. Is there something that has to be done for it to see the network? We looked on our switch - it doesn't see the P20. When we use a different SFP, such as a UTP one or a 1 Gbps SFP, it's fine.

What's the deal?
