Wyse P20 will not do anything when turning on.
Wyse P20 will not do anything when turning on.
When I take a fresh P20 out of their box, and set it up and power it on, nothing displays on a DVI-connected monitor at all.
I have P20s that work fine, but these new in box P20s do nothing. I've gone through about 15 of them so far, with nothing.

Yeah, I've tried both DVI ports, there are some P20s that work fine, and then there are like 15-20 that don't do anything at all. I'd be fine with thinking it was like a lemon if it was 1 P20, but it's like 15-20 that dont work.

Check the DVI port
The P20 has 2 DVI ports on the back. Make sure that you are using DVI port 1.

Same problem. Ever get resolution?
We contacted Dell who sold them to us, and they said call Wyse support. Wyse support said "oh, I've never heard of that happening." We have 40+ of them like this.

Hi,
From last 2 months we are using P20 D200 terminal, it was working fine.
But from yesterday, the terminal is getting the power and it is ON(Green color) but there is no display in monitor and there is no power light glowing in mouse and keyboard.
Kindly help on this issue.

This looks like it's a hardware problem. Go to the self-service center and create an RMA to send the unit back for repair.

Same thing here - (2) P20s fresh out of the box - got them to work 1 time each - unplugged them and didn't use them for a while, then plugged them back up - "Green" power light - no video - nothing. Power cycle and unplug power - power on - and nothing. Any idea would be helpful - obviously we can't deploy these terminals until we have a resolution. Wyse - anything....?? Thanks in advance !
