210-AKQJ Dell 24 Gaming Monitor | S2417DG 23.8"
My newly brought computer XPS 8930 come with Dell 24 Gaming Monitor S2417DG 23.8". The problem I am encountering is no sound from the monitor. I have installed all the HDMI, DP and USB cable and it's still doesn't work. Can anyone advise what to do?

What makes you think it has speakers or can produce sound?
And FYI, you only connect the USB cable and EITHER the DP or the HDMI.

You can't blame the user for connecting both the HDMI and DP cables at the same time because illustration #3 in the Quick start guide for this monitor shows three cables, marked HDMI, DP, and USB, coming from rear of monitor to PC. DUH!!! :Ick:
The Users Guide is correct and says on page 23: Connect the DP or HDMI cable from your monitor to the computer.
Users Guide doesn't mention speakers but lists: 1 x Audio line-out jack - Bottom so that would be the place to connect speakers. The monitor's On-Screen Display (OSD) has audio settings but they only appear to adjust volume.
