Anyone has experiences with XPS Tower? #2

I am deciding between the XPS 15 and XPS Tower for video editting. I like the XPS 15 but seem like it has a lot of problems.

I can get the XPS 15 with i7 8th edition, gtx 1050ti, 16gb ram and 1 tb SSD for $1k6 I can get the XPS tower with i7 8700k, gtx 1070 ti, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd and 2 tb HDD for $1k4.

The problem is I found so many negative reviews about XPS 15 and almost no review about XPS tower. Please give me your advice. Thank you!

@merigobe4 :

I have an XPS 8930 SE tower and also a XPS 15 7590 laptop.  You will always get more "bang" for the buck from a desktop computer than you will from a laptop.  Moreover, desktops have expansion slots, are usually upgradeable to some extent and desktop are much easier to modify and repair.  The laptops are pretty space restricted and not very "user friendly" in terms of repair or modifications.

If computer mobility is not an issue for you, then I would recommend going the desktop route.

Just my two cents.  Others may have different opinions.

Have a great day.

-Phil
