none of above.  those are for previous gen Optiplex and Inspiron which has 6 pin on mobo.  3030s like 3020 or 3910 has 8 pin on mobo and use a completely different designed Dell oem psu

but the eBay listing pic is not for 500w psu despite what it claims to be.

the 500w psu TPX56 should be much wider than what the pic shows.

small desktop aka SFF does not accommodate full size psu, whereas 3030 desktop would.  that is the downside of SFF, hence its lower price.

on US dell site the desktop price is more than small desktop relatively speaking.  lower =/= low but Inspiron is the relatively cheap consumer model line compared to Optiplex are for different market

3030 small desktop can only accommodate up to 300W Dell oem psu for Optiplex,

Dell does not even offer the 300w in 3030SFF spec another evidence of this being a low end entry model.

3030S and 3020S are 92.6 mm wide only

@redxps630​ the 3030 was partly a sweet gift from the whole family... Because my 14-year-old Dell xps 17 is slowly falling apart. A 300W power supply should also be enough. Other alternative graphics cards for such a 300W power supply? rtx 3060 consumes more electricity. hhm?

RTX 3050 (6GB) appears to require no additional power connector.

@redxps630​ even without a graphics card, the computer comes to over 217W... I only have 180W. What am I wrong? Got the i5-14400, 1x16GB Ram, 512GB M.2-PCIe-NVMe, 1tb hdd 7200U/min internal, wireless mouse, keyboard. 40 inch TV over hdmi/displayport. 2 external HDD with own power supply. And occasionally nen usb stick 2.0 and 3.0

I have noticed that with the more recent 13/14th Intel cpu this calculator estimates higher than Dell oem psu.

I think I should not recommend this calculator for the modern cpu any more.

I use another calculator to test and it appears more reasonable

@redxps630​ but where do I see how much cotton I need? With "the maximum wattage"? There's a rtx 3050 400w. At a 4060 402w. Without graphic card 200w.
Now I'm even more ruthless than before...

Are there alternative graphics cards for this 300w power supply, which are better than Intel uhd 730???
